Dr. Dieter Trau is founder and
CEO of innovativeBio.Biz. Dr. Trau received his M.S. in
Biotechnology in 1994 from the Aachen University of Applied Sciences,
Germany. He worked 4 years as an
R&D engineer in medical diagnostics in Germany. Dr Trau received his PhD degree in Chemistry from
the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2001. He is an
expert in the field of biomedical diagnostic, biosensors and surface
chemistry. Inventor in more than 10 patents/patent applications in life sciences and author in more than 10 international
publications. Currently, Dr Trau is an Assistant Professor at the
National University of Singapore (NUS).

Dr. Marjan Orban has gained
professional experience in label free and fluorometric biosensors and
received his PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of
Muenster (Germany) in 1999. He is the founder of the life science company
XanTec Analysensysteme and since 1997 member of the scientific board. Dr.
Orban lectured (Bio-)Analytical Chemistry courses and researched in the
Biosensor group at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology from
1999 to 2000. Currently, Dr. Orban works as an Applications Specialist for
fluorescence and luminescence based bioanalytical technologies at BMG

Prof
Frank Caruso completed his Honors degree in Physical Chemistry in 1989
and his PhD degree in 1994 at the University of Melbourne, Australia. In
1997, he became an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at the Max
Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, in Berlin, Germany. Prof Caruso is a world renowned expert in the field of colloidal
sciences and nano-coating technologies. In particular, his work on
microparticle coating, encapsulation and assembling is of high interest
in bioanalytics and material sciences. His published
work is listed in the ‘Top Ten’ list of most cited chemistry
papers in the period 1999 - 2001. We are happy to have Prof
Caruso as a consultancy in LbL and colloid related technologies.
